Description:
The school fete is a grand event that is organized by the school and eagerly awaited by the students and parents of Loreto Convent. The Chief Guest for the occasion Ms.Chandra Thakur and Ms.Rashmi Sobti who are retired teachers of the school inaugurated the fete with the ribbon cutting ceremony. The ground was filled with different colours the food and game stalls were decorated with charts, balloons and streamers. The school carnival is a lot of fun as it gives much needed break from studies and gives the students an opportunity to indulge in different activities. A variety of games and food stalls were put up for the entertainment of visitors. The food stalls offered sumptuous food of a wide variety. Dosa, Channa Bhatura, Momos, Cakes, Chowmein and many more items. The cold drink and the ice cream stalls were the children’s favorite stalls. The game stalls were a great attraction as attractive gifts were won by the participants. The famous ones being lucky Dip, Hoopla, Hitting the can, Tambolla, Razzle Dazzle, Request Corner, Jam Session and many more. These stalls were a delight to everyone and kept good times rolling all day long. The JPIC stall displayed several craft items that were made by the junior and senior school students. Organizing the fete is a mammoth task and requires unwavering dedication and focus. The key in addition to constant effort was delegation of work and coordination, not just with each other but with the students as well.
